I tried hard to forget about this pair because i know romance will never bloom for any of the Strawhat crew but Oda seems give a little hope for this pairing. I present to you Nami X Trafalgar Law ♥_♥ Contains HEAVY Spoilers!you were Warned >:)
They first met 2 years prior to the current storyline at sabaody archipelago, now they reunite at Punk hazard, how romantic ~ There was absolutely nothing romantic about that but still Me says Yay. ^_^/ Not to mention that the First Strawhat to notice and talk to law was Nami even though it was one sided accusations from Nami's part. When Nami was kidnapped by the yeti cool brothers guess who saved her?? :")) Not Luffy, not zoro, not even sanji but it was none other than Law. <3 >__< Then the Pirate Alliance came, Nami was against it. she didn't trust Law at all, she was even suspicious of his motives.
Bit by bit throughout this arc Nami began trusting him, she even told him "Isn't this supposed to be an alliance?! Have a little Faith!" when he was doubting the Strawhat crews sniper of letting the enemies get away.
After Punk Hazard they head to Dressrosa where Doflamingo, who recently stepped down from Shichibukai and relinquished his title as king of dressrosa heeding Law's demand in exchange for caesar awaits them. Nami and Law had few interactions here as it was just a short journey, But I loved the small moments no matter how insignificant it may be, notice how they always seem to be near each other ? ♥ my favorite would be them sitting besides each other while eating breakfast <3 I'm not sure if it was on purpose or coincidental, only Oda sensei knows.
After they arrived to dressrosa, Law gave Nami a Vivre card headed to Zou in case something happens as they will split in three groups Law, usopp and robin(Ceasar Transfer team). Luffy, zoro, sanji and kinemon(Factory Destroying & Samurai retreival team) Nami, chopper, brook and momo(Thousand Sunny Guard team). You don't know how disappointed i was when I found out the teams, Why didn't they end up in the same team?! :"(( Why?!. Enough, at least they'll surely meet a hundred or so chapters later, Right? I love you Pirate Alliance, you made this pairing possible.Make this Alliance FOREVER, Ok? :D
So i tell you what i like about
1.) They look so good together~ They are not far apart age wise, Hot Guy and Hot Girl couple.
2.) They complement each other, Personality wise.
3.) Law's ability to scan is kinda similar to Nami's Stealing ability/Talent
4.) Due to the Alliance there will be more interactions of them in the future, the cover page of 693 shows law's crew staring at Nami, they all adore girls except for their stoic Captain >:/
5.) They trust each other, They love each other. Just kidding :) but law does begin to trust nami as evidenced in the Punk Hazard Arc.
Even though Nami and Law were separated I found it amusing how Nami easily caught up with Law's plan- which he didn't tell to anyone, the part where he was the sacrifice(to fight with Doflamingo) something like that. Also it was Nami that explained it to Luffy, and said to not waste Traffy's effort, thus the plan continued. :D

I think they're fit together because they're both smart, it was like they have this mental telepathy thing and without more words they'd be able to understand each other. - It's just me and my fangirling self. Scratch that.
Same sentiments ^_^ I still ship NamixLaw even if they're not together right now but when the Zou arc comes and we have more namixlaw hints oh boy how good will that be <3
ReplyDeleteI agree with you there, they can understand each other on a deep level because both of them have sharp minds and an unusual relationship.
Maybe I'm just hoping for that tiniest possibility Oda sensei will bring romance into this series.
