One Piece Chapter 658 "Biscuit Room"

After sanji's group escaped from the cell and wound up in the biscuit room, the children pleaded the strawhats to help them get out of the island.nami can't turn her back against children so they decided to answer their call for help.meanwhile luffy's group kept running into bizzare animals whilst beating them up evey time. getting in contact with brook, who was left at the thousand sunny,they agreed to meet up where the sunny is docked at.it was revealed that punk hazard became a wasteland after vegapunk failed a chemical experiment and that it's was the place where akainu and aokiji had their fight 2 years ago.

I honestly have no idea where this is going.punk hazard being the result of akainu VS aokiji fight was unexpected,well not really i suppose it's just me not noticing the obvious

Rave Master and One Piece Update

has it really been two weeks since i last posted something??
it's really easy to start a blog but as time passes by, losing interest is definitely a problem. my motivation was fairly high at first but i keep getting distracted by other things..

luckily there was a break last week... a week ago, i was busy reading Rave Master an earlier work of Hiro Mashima (fairy tail) It was definitely not a waste of time.there were a lot of things in rave that reminded me of one piece.like going on an adventure to find something, the humor and even the characters. personally i prefer it over fairy tail but it can never compare to One Piece. well, there was one thing i liked from rave that one piece will never have, and that is the subtle romance between the main characters.

from tommorow onwards, I'll continue to blog one piece chapters and maybe the anime.

One Piece chapter 657 'A Severed Head'

luffy's group find themselves in the other half of the island, it turns out that punk hazard is actually is divided into two parts.a burning island on one half, and a frozen island on the other half.sanji,franky,nami and chopper are all locked up in a jail cell, with brook nowhere to be found. they find a talking severed head there who is revealed to be a samurai of wano country.franky uses his beam to escape the jail cell, after that they found themselves in a room full of giant kids. this chapter had lots of funny moments~..punk hazard is turning out to be much more weirder than i originally thought it would be.first a dragon then a zombie with a half body,after that talking severed head and lastly, giant children. oda sensei's imagination seems to be going wild now that we're in the new world.punk hazard, maybe it's somekind of facility where vegapunk would experiment on things, for sure they're not going to be happy once they find out that someone actually broke in.

One Piece Chapter 656 'Adventure on the Burning Island'

k luffy and others fight the fire breathing dragon with their new attacks. back at the sunny nami and the others were put to sleep by unknown masked men and were captured ,possibly brought to punk hazard.meanwhile, luffy finds a person stuck in the head of the dragon he was a person with no upper body and has a grudge against the shichibukai.luffy asks him to join his crew.

the dragon was not a talking dragon, and they spent almost the entire chapter fighting it. the end was hilarious with luffy asking the samurai? with no upper body to join his crew.it reminded me of a funny scene in thriller bark when he asked a zombie tree and pony to join his crew.now, it makes me want to watch thriller bark arc all over again.there is something in punk hazard that gave me the same vibe as thriller bark.the kind of mysteriousness and dangerous feeling i felt while watching TB.

One Piece episode 534 review

luffy decides to take princess shirahoshi to the sea forest.with the mermaid princess gone from her room the neptune army suspects strawhat luffy to be the one who kidnapped her.
hody and vander decken are planning to take over ryuugu kingdom
decken uses his mato mato power on hachi, cruelly targeting him with arrows that could never miss. the end showed jimbei in the sea forest sitting near the grave of a certain someone.
same as manga but a lot of scenes were dragged out so it was a bit disappointing.I prefer the manga countepart with it's fast pacing and best of all, it doesn't have filler scenes just original material.I suppose the straw hat pirates will gather at the sea forest cause sunny is there. hody is just a warm up for the new world, i bet he's never even been there before.

One Piece Chapter 655 'Punk Hazard'

The Strawhat Pirates have finally entered the New World after 2 long years of delay, using their new log pose they were supposed to pick one of three islands Risky red,Mystoria or Raijin(thunder)island.however due to an unexpected emergency call from a nearby island asking for help, Luffy and his crew decide to go to Punk Hazard instead. Vice Admiral Smoker,who was planning on ambushing them in raijin(thunder)island was shocked to hear where they were heading. back to Punk hazard, Luffy,Ussop,Zoro and Robin were chosen by lot to check out the island first.while roaming around they were shocked and expressed disbelief when they saw an actual Dragon.
 First arc of the New World! and it was utterly amazing.I was expecting they would go to Raijin(thunder)island the most dangerous island of the three,The death island..it was raining thunder on that island o_0 but never mind Punk hazard also seem interesting, being shrouded with mysteries. I expect this arc to be much better than the fishman island arc.Punk Hazard is said to be abandoned 4 years ago even marines are prohibited to enter so guess it's pretty dangerous to go there but being the adventure loving pirates they are, ignoring all warnings and doing whatever they want is what they do best, I really love that part of them.The talking dragon was a nice touch i bet i'ts going to play a big part in the future chapters.

I have a livejournal account but it's my first time blogging.
My plan is to review current one piece manga and anime weekly starting this week.
why?,because forum discussions is not my thing, i prefer reading blogs but the problem is,i can't find one currently blogging OP,other anime blogs only blog current anime so i just thought of trying it myself.but the biggest reason is that i LOVE the current manga arc and i want to share my thoughts about the future chapters.
